Meet the Team

Emily Gerde

Founder

With a vision for building something meaningful, our founder brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience. Emily has coached gymnastics for 27 years and is excited to create opportunities for athletes of Routt County to build strength, flexibility, balance, and joy through ninja, trampolines, gymnastics and extreme sports ramps. Emily was a gymnast at Eastern Michigan University on a full ride scholarship and looks to use her 15 years of managing gymnastics gyms to provide a positive experience for athletes of all ages. Emily is passionate about creating a one-stop-shop for you mental, physical, and emotional well being with an assortment of wellness rooms on the second floor, and ample space for the community to gather, learn, and find their equilibrium.

Alder Grove

Design Manager

LEED AP BD+C

Temple Design Studio's mission is to serve each of our clients so they can achieve their greatest potential. Personal temples, homes that are sanctuaries, and sacred landscapes are the project types that bring our souls alive. Our ability to bring magic to collaborations with clients is rooted in twenty years of design and construction experience. Studying the rhythms of nature, strong community connection and increasing personal awareness are the core influences underpinning our design philosophy and worldview. We are endlessly optimistic about the human potential. Alder attended architecture programs at Syracuse University and the University of Colorado. In the ensuing years, Alder has been refining his skill set working in the resort areas of Lake Tahoe and Steamboat Springs. This experience afforded the opportunity to work on high-end, spectacular residences and commercial spaces such as resort amenities and community facilities. More recently, we have been traveling to ancient sacred sites and observing the technologies and materials our ancestors used to facilitate their special places. Alder lives outside Steamboat Springs with his family, breathing in the fresh air and getting outside daily in the stunning Rocky Mountains.
